Joseph Schilling, senior fellow and professor in practice, and Lauren Bulka, research associate, represented The Metropolitan Institute at Virginia Tech on the management and evaluation team for SC2 Fellows, funded through the German Marshall Fund and in collaboration with Cleveland State University. Their informal, conversational interview conveys their understanding of the fellowship process, its possibilities and vulnerabilities.
